Winter Marches On

Still having a hard time getting jewelry made and posted as quickly as I would like, also keeping up with the blog, which I last updated nearly a month ago! Really excited about the new designs posting to Etsy in the next few days. Still creating with the gorgeous stones I found on my trip to Raleigh, North Carolina to see the lovely Medieval Muse back in September, just before my world was upended.

This teardrop of labradorite was just meant to be
paired with one of my favorite Burne-Jones paintings!

Now that the dust has settled a bit, I am so grateful for where I am right now~ creatively and personally. There is a peace in my life I haven't felt in a long time. A feeling of hope for the future, excitement for the opportunities and new paths ahead. Upcoming photo shoots planned, more jewelry inspirations to bring into being, and so much more. Thanks to everyone that made my transition easier, and to my customers who keep me in business in uneasy economic times.

It has been such a mild winter here in New England, so grateful for that. Tonight we are getting a beautiful dusting of snow, reminding us that there is still a little way to go before Spring.

Getting back to work...

Happy to be getting back into the routine that I love so much, making new jewelry, photographing and editing, then finally listing on my Etsy shop! So grateful to have loyal customers that have not lost interest during my downtime. Nearing a thousand facebook likes is exciting too! Thanks to everyone who has purchased from me or spread the word about my work. So appreciated!

Also grateful that Galatea is now spending time with me in the office/photo studio, as for the first few months she felt most comfortable upstairs only. I missed her company and am overjoyed that she found a new roost here to be comfortable on, in the middle of all the action :)

She sits near one of my treasures, a sweet embroidery bookmark that my mom made for me.

...back to work!
