Still having a hard time getting jewelry made and posted as quickly as I would like, also keeping up with the blog, which I last updated nearly a month ago! Really excited about the new designs posting to Etsy in the next few days. Still creating with the gorgeous stones I found on my trip to Raleigh, North Carolina to see the lovely Medieval Muse back in September, just before my world was upended.
This teardrop of labradorite was just meant to be
paired with one of my favorite Burne-Jones paintings!
Now that the dust has settled a bit, I am so grateful for where I am right now~ creatively and personally. There is a peace in my life I haven't felt in a long time. A feeling of hope for the future, excitement for the opportunities and new paths ahead. Upcoming photo shoots planned, more jewelry inspirations to bring into being, and so much more. Thanks to everyone that made my transition easier, and to my customers who keep me in business in uneasy economic times.
It has been such a mild winter here in New England, so grateful for that. Tonight we are getting a beautiful dusting of snow, reminding us that there is still a little way to go before Spring.
I'm so glad for your renewed sense of peace, you deserve it. And the necklace pictured is so gorgeous. The Beguiling of Merlin is one of my favorite works.
ReplyDeleteI'm so totally beguiled by this one! What a gorgeous creation and kudos on capturing the purple flash in the stone. The fleamarket hosts a bead show this month and another gem show in April - I could stock up for you if you need anything:) Of course, going wouldn't be nearly as fun without you.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful, my dear! And I'm so excited for you as you transition into this beautiful new phase of your life. Much love to you!
